Protecting the environment is a basic principle underlying our business operations including environmental investments and the ongoing search for new innovative solutions based on natural, renewable raw materials contributing to one of the key pillars of our sustainable development.
The guidelines for all our activities and responsibilities in Quality, Environmental, Energy and Occupational Health and Safety Policy are stipulated in the Lecta Integrated Management System.

Responsible conduct toward the people and communities that are affected by our business
operations is a core part of our sustainability agenda. We care for the health and safety of our employees and contractors. We are also committed to contribute to the well-being of people and communities along our value chain.
At Lecta safety is a top priority. For us safety means implementing a preventive safety culture and ensuring a healthy working environment.

Lecta’s Code of Ethics serves as the foundation for our activities, and it contains the ethical principles and core values for the entire Group’s operations. Within the framework of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, of which Lecta has been a participant since 2011, Lecta’s Code of Ethics confirms its commitment to transparency, respect for the law and good governance, the basis of sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
