Lecta chooses EcoVadis for its supplier certification process.
As part of Lecta’s 2030 Sustainability Strategy, Lecta has taken a further step in their track record with EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings. They have just begun a new partnership at the Group level to assess sustainable performance throughout their supply chain.
Through this partnership, Lecta aim to enhance transparency and accountability in their procurement processes using the strict standards set by EcoVadis’ methodology. Lecta’s suppliers will be evaluated on the four key pillars of sustainable development: environment, labor, business ethics and sustainable procurement. These evaluations will enable Lecta to identify areas for improvement and work closely with their suppliers to drive positive change.
This is essential for Lecta goal of delivering the highest quality products while minimizing their impact on the planet and society, as well as ensuring compliance with European Green Deal objectives, one of Lecta’s main commitments.
